I know that my blog URL is good and short already, but should I consider to get com, net or org domain name? There are plenty free blog hosts out there like Blogger, Wordpress, Blog and others. As far as I know Blog has shortest URL of them all. And I like to see shorter blog names instead of looong ones. But is it better to jump in to the com madness?
Many famous bloggers, and when I say famous I mean those popular ones with over 5.000 rss subsrcibers says that it is very important to get .com domain name. This gives you a LOT of more traffic and people tend to think that you are "serious" about stuff you write if you have your own .com domain name. It's like you are buying credibility with domain.
There are many good web hosts out there like Host Color Busines Mega where you get free .com .net or .org domain name beside Antispam and Anti-virus SSL, SSH, Ad management system, 2000 MB space, 50 GB Bandwidth, unlimited POP3 e-mail, etc. Prizes are good also.
