Flanture

This is something really new - flash animation : money falling from the sky. Effect shows paper dollars and quarters. Coins are 3D rendered and they look truly realistic. Take a look at image preview:

 

This is great file for all those millions of MMO (make money online) bloggers as header animation, sidebar link or whatever. Since file can easily be customized everyone can make unique creation to suit its needs. Awesome work with this one from FlashBros.

File is written with ActionScript 2.0 and opens with Flash 8 (8+). You are free to change animation speed and size, to control number and direction of falling money and this process doesn’t require any previous ActionScript knowledge.

Today this blog has entered third year of existence. Exactly two years ago, on Friday January 12th 2007 I have posted my first short post on this blog:

‘FLANTURE is short for “flash adventure”, but this blog will be wider, I hope.’

Since than I have expanded with another Flanture blog at Blogger, which is still alive and another unsuccessful try at Wordpress and this one didn’t last too long, only seven posts in May and June 2008.

During those two years blog has had few successes and few loses. One of the things I’m positive about related to this blog is it’s ability to generate some cash from time to time. One of the sources was writing reviews for ReviewMe. I had posted more then 20 paid reviews on different topics. Another good source was private ads, but this lasted short period while I had good search engines support. Amazingly but every time this blog loses one source of income another one emerges. Maybe it’s not about this blog - it’s me? Latest project that works very well is affiliate marketing programs close to my Flash Platform niche.

Few things I wish I’ve done in the better way. First, some of the paid reviews I’ve done were very far from my niche and that’s something not recommended in building your own blogger voice. Also I haven’t managed to create any decent number of RSS subscribers nor many people comment here. This is something I will try to change in next two years.

In new 2009 year, final year of first decade of 21st century, you can expect new interesting stuff on Flanture blog(s). This blog can’t praise a lot with Flash Tutorials until now, but that is all about to change. I’m already in writing process of few Flash Tutorials. Some of them will be based upon previous ones, so be prepared to read them regularly. Even consider subscribing to RSS Feed.

Tutorials will be oriented towards this blog main interests. First Flash Tutorial which will be presented here is titled Random Number Generator With Blur Effect and it’s almost finished. It will be published in the following days. Here is the small preview image:

 

I hope this Flash Tutorial will be just an introduction to long list of Flash games related tutorials with many examples, swfs, zips, flas and others somethings. All code will be absolutely free to use, no obligations, zero catch.
